Where is SmartBunny Phone Insurance available?

SmartBunny Phone Insurance is currently available ONLY in the following states:

AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, MI, MS, MO, MN, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI.

How much does it cost?

Subscribers enrolled in SmartBunny Phone Insurance pay a low monthly premium ranging from of $4.00 to $14.00 depending on the retail value of your device at time of enrollment.

Will I be charged tax on this plan?

All plan costs, fees, and charges are subject to applicable taxes.

What coverage is available and when does my coverage start?

When you Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) and enroll in SmartBunny Phone Insurance, you’ll be protected for loss, theft and accidental damage from handling.

Your coverage starts 30 days after enrollment.

You are also eligible for electrical/mechanical malfunction claims after the manufacturer’s warranty expires.

How many claims am I allowed?

You are allowed 2 approved claims in any rolling 12-month period beginning with the date of your first approved claim. Once you have reached this limit you will be cancelled from the program. A deductible also applies for each approved claim.

When do I file a claim?

If your phone is lost, stolen or suffers accidental damage, screen break or malfunction (after the manufacturer's warranty), file a claim. A claim must be filed within 60 days of the incident.

If your phone or device experiences an electrical or mechanical malfunction and more than 12 months has passed since the date of purchase, you can submit a claim.

A manufacturer's warranty (in-warranty) is provided by your phone manufacturer and is generally valid for 12 months from the date of initial purchase. Electrical or mechanical malfunctions in the first 12 months are generally covered by your manufacturer’s warranty. Details about your warranty can be found in your device’s original packaging.

How do I file a claim?

The claim is fast, easy, and secure. Simply gather your personal information, incident details, and visit our claims page. Provide information about your protected device, including details about what happened, and follow the directions to submit your claim.

What do I do if I have issues uploading my documentation to My Plan?

The quickest way to resolve your claim is to submit your documentation through My Plan.

If you are experiencing issues uploading your claim affidavit or other requested documents, you can email documents@Likewizeprotect.com or you can send by mail to Likewize Device Protection, LLC, Attn: Asset Protection, 1900 W Kirkwood Blvd Suite 1600C Southlake, TX 76092. Requested documentation sent by mail or email may delay your claim.

What does my plan cover?

SmartBunny Phone Insurance provides protection for loss, theft, screen break, accidental damage from handling and mechanical or electrical malfunction after the expiration of the manufacturer’s warranty.

For loss and theft incidents, upon approval of your claim, you will receive a reimbursement via gift card based on the MSRP of your device at the time of enrollment.

For accidental damage from handling and electrical and mechanical malfunction incidents, you will be given options to repair your device. If your device is not able to be repaired, you will receive a reimbursement in the form of a digital gift card for the value of the device at the time of enrollment.

What’s not protected?

While our plan covers an impressive range of incidents, there are a few exceptions: normal wear and tear cosmetic or pre-existing damage. Other exclusions may apply. Please refer to your plan's terms and conditions for all the details and give us a call at 1-844-333-4895 if you have any questions.

When can I enroll?

Enroll your device through the SmartBunny app and your coverage will start in 30 days.

Please note that your device must be fully operational at the time of plan activation in order to enroll.

Am I required to pay a deductible before I get my device repaired?

Yes. You are required to pay a deductible for each approved claim. For your exact claim, go to My Plan and sign in.

How will I be billed?

Your plan payment will be added to your monthly SmartBunny Insurance bill.

Can I cancel?

You may cancel at any time by using the SmartBunny Insurance Mobile App.

What if I have an issue with my device after repair?

All repair work is guaranteed for 90 days. Simply go online or call Likewize at 1-844-333-4895 to file your warranty Claim

Questions About Device Repair

What determines which repair options are offered?

Likewize determines which repair options are available. Your location, device model, type of damage, and repair part availability can influence whether the device will be able to be repaired. For example, brand new models may not be available for repair right away, and certain types of damage such as liquid damage are not eligible for repair.

Can I go to any phone repair location?

To ensure quality, all repairs must be completed through one of Likewize’s authorized repair partners. When you complete your claim, you will be presented with authorized repair partners in your area. Once you select an authorized repair partner, you can visit any of their locations to complete your claim.

What if there’s not a repair location near me?

Don’t worry, Likewize has repair partners who accept devices via mail. Likewize will send you a prepaid label, and all you need to do is package your device and drop it in a USPS mailbox. It will be repaired and returned to you.

What happens if the repair provider cannot fix my device?

If your phone is unrepairable, Likewize will provide you a reimbursement in the form of a digital gift card for the value of the device at the time of enrollment.

What happens if I have an issue with my device after repair?

All repair work is guaranteed for ninety (90) days by Likewize’s repair partners. Simply call Likewize at 1-844-333-4895, to file your repair warranty Claim.
