Program Overview

Enrolling in Goose Phone Insurance is easy! Simply sign up through the Goose Phone Insurance App using your mobile device.

"Bring Your Own" device (BYOD), enroll and your coverage will start in 30 days.

Please note that your device must be fully operational at the time of plan enrollment. You may be asked to provide proof that your phone is active on a wireless carrier network.

Coverage includes loss, theft, accidental damage from handling and electrical/mechanical malfunction after the manufacturer's warranty expires.

Monthly Premium pricing ranges from $4 to $14 per month depending on the retail value of the eligible device. Deductibles range from $15 to $300 (see table below for details). Repair deductibles range from $15 to $29.

Up to 2 claims are permitted in a rolling 12-month period, with a maximum of $2,000 value per claim.

Where is Goose Phone Insurance available?

Goose Phone Insurance is currently available ONLY in the following states:

AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, MI, MS, MO, MN, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI.

How much does it cost?

Subscribers enrolled in Goose Phone Insurance pay a low monthly premium ranging from of $4.00 to $14.00 depending on the retail value of your device at time of enrollment.

Please note that a deductible is also required when your claim is approved and a repair is authorized. View more about costs.

Will I be charged tax on this plan?

All plan costs, fees, and charges are subject to applicable taxes.

What coverage is available and when does my coverage start?

When you Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) and enroll in Goose Phone Insurance, you’ll be protected for loss, theft and accidental damage from handling.

Your coverage starts 30 days after enrollment.

You are also eligible for electrical/mechanical malfunction claims after the manufacturer’s warranty expires

When do I file a claim?

If your phone is lost, stolen or suffers accidental damage, screen break or malfunction (after the manufacturer's warranty), file a claim. A claim must be filed within 60 days of the incident.

If your phone or device experiences an electrical or mechanical malfunction and more than 12 months has passed since the date of purchase, you can submit a claim.

A manufacturer's warranty (in-warranty) is provided by your phone manufacturer and is generally valid for 12 months from the date of initial purchase. Electrical or mechanical malfunctions in the first 12 months are generally covered by your manufacturer’s warranty. Details about your warranty can be found in your device’s original packaging.

Likewize Agency, LLC is the licensed agent and Likewize Device Protection, LLC administers the program. In California, the Agent is Likewize Agency, LLC d/b/a Likewize Insurance Agency, LLC. Please review the terms and conditions for complete details, limitations, and exclusions. The Administrator of the Plan is Likewize Device Protection, LLC 1900 Kirkwood Blvd, Suite 1600C, Southlake, TX 76092 (866)277-6325 Administrator, (TX License Number 501). You are not required to purchase device protection to activate wireless service. This coverage may provide a duplicate of other sources of coverage. You may cancel at any time.
