Home Tech Protect
Protect your home devices from mechanical and electrical malfunctions, plus optional accidental damage, with coverage designed to give you peace of mind.
Coverage Highlights
- You can make unlimited claims within a 12-month period up to the limit of no more than $2500 per claim and no more than $6,000 total within that 12-month time frame.
- If you need to make a claim, start within 60 days of the incident. Once you begin, you’ll have 30 days to complete the claim. You’ll need proof of purchase and photos of any damage.
- Covers mechanical and electrical malfunctions for eligible devices. It applies to unlimited products owned by you or household members at your registered address, subject to deductibles and limits. [NC1]

Cost & Billing
- $19.99 per month, billed to your card on file with Newegg.
- Refund Policy:
- If the plan was purchased within the past 30 days and no service request/claim has been filed, cancellation is eligible for a full refund.
- If you cancel after 30 days, you’ll receive a prorated refund, minus any repair costs and an administrative fee (no more than the contract cost or $50, whichever is less).
Claims & Fulfillment
- Claims can be filed online through the portal.
- For mail-in repairs, a prepaid shipping label is provided.
- Reimbursement for eligible claims is issued via an eDisbursement card.
- Repairs are covered by a 30-day warranty.
- Claims should be initiated within 60 days of the incident, and must be completed within a 30-day timeframe.
Important
- Deductibles for each claim vary between $49 and $99 based on the device. For additional details, refer to the Terms and Conditions found in the Resource section.
- Coverage starts 31 days after purchase.
- Excludes loss, theft, cosmetic damage, and pre-existing issues.
Extended Warranty
Extend protection beyond the manufacturer’s warranty with options for power surge and accidental damage coverage.
Coverage Highlights
- Mechanical/electrical malfunctions after manufacturer’s warranty ends.
- Optional Accidental Damage coverage (liquid spills, drops).
- Accidental Damage, including liquid damage and Power Surge protection – 3 years.
- Extended Warranty – Lasts 2 or 3 years after Manufacturer's warranty, depending on purchase.

- In order to qualify, you must enroll at the time of purchase.
